Acer, Asus & LGs første monitorer med HDMI 2.1 til 4K120, VRR

På CES 2021 har Acer, Asus og LG løftet sløret for deres første PC-monitorer med HDMI 2.1, hvilket åbner for spil i 4K og 120 billeder per sekund, med eller uden VRR, fra spilkonsoller.

Monitorer med HDMI 2.1

120Hz og endnu højere billedfrekvenser har været supporteret på PC-monitorer i årevis. Ønsker man at forbinde en PC-monitor til PlayStation 5 eller Xbox Series X for at nyde spil i 4K120 (4K ved 120 billeder per sekund), så kræver det imidlertid HDMI 2.1. På CES-messen har Acer, Asus og LG præsenteret deres første monitorer udstyret med HDMI 2.1 porte. Acer XV282K er en 28-tommer LCD-monitor, Asus PG32UQ er en 32-tommer LCD-monitor og LG 27GP950 er en 27-tommer LCD-monitor.

De nye skærme vil supportere 4K120 over HDMI 2.1, og mindst to af dem vil også kunne håndtere 4K120 med VRR (variabel billedfrekvens) over HDMI 2.1. Læs også: LGs første OLED-monitor (32EP950) har 4K i 31.5" Alle tre skærme har 4K-opløsning (3840x2160 pixels) på IPS LCD-paneler, hvorfor man kan forvente lav kontrast men hurtig respons. Alle tre kan desuden køre højere 144Hz opdateringsfrekvens, når de tilsluttes til en PC. Foruden de ovenfor omtalte skærme, har Acer og LG præsenteret andre nye monitorer på CES 2021. ROG Swift PG32UQ ROG Swift PG32UQ is the world’s first 32 -inch HDMI 2.1 gaming monitor and features a 144 Hz IPS panel with a 1ms moving picture response time (MPRT). It has two HDMI 2.1 ports to support up to 4K visuals at up to 120 Hz on the latest gaming consoles.
