yeh,its the new "version".
its got probably the best picture on the market just now..makes the samsung models look rubbish.-which,IMO,they are..cheaply built,and the new models are full of flaws.
the ps3 looks stunning in 1080p with hdmi, on it,as does mostly anything on the other inputs.
i would buy it from currys or dixons,and im sure on their sites,its not that much more than £1100.
after may 7th this year,the XD1E was discontinued,and replaced by this model,the 42XD1EA.
when you buy it,just ask them to make sure they will give you a new model..some stores,might try to offload old stock.
