@summer & andre interesserede..

Men igen! Jeg har faktisk hørt lyden i et ægte Samsung 100hz LED 40" tv.. i nøjagtigt det samme 2,9 cm tynde kabinet.. og dér var lyden MEGET bedre!
Mine 15 kritikpunkter var flg.:
Problems with the UMC 40” 100 hz LED TV:
1) SOUND. There is incredible bad sound in the TV. It’s like there is no bass at all. I believe that the phases have been switched so that the red wire have been swapped with the black wire inside the TV on one of the soundchannels (Left/right).
Another thing that witnesses this is that the sound from the jack plug in the TV also sounds really bad when connected to a separate amplifier and loudspeakers via the stereojack plug on the TV and a cable! ONLY if I myself swap the black & red wire in one of the soundchannels on my external cable, the sound sounds good (and with bass)!
2) REMOTECONTROL. The TV reacts increadible bad on the remotecontrol. You have to push many times before it finally responds. And when it finally responds, its like its doing all the things as it was recorded in a buffer of a very slow processor! E.g. if You push “channel up” on the remotecontrol then it doesn’t react. Then You click again & again, and after 3,4,5 times it finally reacts, but then it moves up 3,4,5 channels, instead of just one! Its important to notice that its ALL buttons that reacts slow or doesnt react! Also record, text-tv, volume, info, fav etc.
3) 100 HZ. I have been in a TV-shop where they had a demo showing the difference on 2 Samsung TVs. One was 50 hz and the other 100 hz. The demo showed very clearly the difference from 50 hz to 100 hz on Samsung flatscreen panel TV’s.
When objects (like a hand) was moving fast over the screen on the TV-signal, the result was chopped up abruptly, while it was moving nice and total smoothly on the 100 hz!
But on this UMC 100 hz TV fast moving objects are ALSO chopped up into frames like on the 50 hz demo TV in the shop, so its like the UMC 100hz TV is NOT 100 hz, but only 50!?
4) CLEAN COLORS. Colors that fill up large areas on the screen are not clear & clean colors. E.g. when a movie is shown it always ends with the final text lines rolling down (vertical scroll text) on a black background screen to show all the actors and vice versa that have contributed in the made of the movie. On a normal CRT TV this “black” IS black! But on the UMC TV black is NOT black, but looks like granular sediment.
On the example above, instead of one large area of just dark black, its shows a lot of smaller areas in different dark shapes. Like some black, some dark green, some dark grey and so on.
Its like digital noise. Like a really bad analog to digital picture converter.
5) PIXELATION. Very often some areas on the TV gets pixelated and sometimes even pauses. Especially when something is moving on the screen.
Like if You took a picture with an old digital camera or a bad mobilephone camera and zooms in several times. Then You also see big pixelated areas.
6) USB RECORDING - START. When pushing the record button on the remotecontrol it takes VERY long time before it starts to record! Its very frustrating because then its often too late to record. E.g. if I look at Voice TV (musicvideos) and see a video I wanna record and then I push record, then it takes so long time to start recording that the musicvideo sometimes is over!
7) USB RECORDING – PLAY. When looking at something recorded with the USB recording facility, then it pauses all the time! It is also pixelated in large areas! Its actually TOTAL IMPOSSIBLE to get something useful out of the recorded material!
8) LED. When the screen is total black, e.g. in that second when You change channels on the TV, its not total clean black from corner to corner.
Actually its like there is more light coming out from the corners on the TV inside the square area. I was told that the whole idea of a “LED” flatscreen TV was that it did NOT have light-panels sitting in the corners or at the sides, but actually had real light LED’s in each pixel on the screen!?
9) 100 HZ HDMI. When connecting the TV to a laptop via HDMI I cannot select 100 hz on the laptop and sometimes the signal is flickering or not filling up the whole screen.
Why can I not select 100 hz on the computer? And how can I get the optimal setting on the laptop for best result on the TV? Can You direct me to a working & optimal screendriver?
10) ELECTRONIC BEEP. Very often there is coming an electronic “beep” sound from the TV! There is no logic in when its coming. Its can come several times in the middle of a movie on the TV, when changing tracks/recorded movies or in many other scenarios.
11) SIGNAL OUT OF SYNC. Very often the signal is out of sync. That means the audio is not in correct time with the picture. E.g. if You see the weather report and the guys mouth movements doesn’t match the actual talk.
Allmost on all TV sending I believe I can see a little “out of sync”. And that’s when Im looking analogue signal. If I change to same channels in the corresponding HD digital channel, its much worse! Then I don’t wanna see the channel – so bad is it!
12) NORMAL / HD. We have a TV channel in Denmark called “DR”. this we have in both “normal” and in “HD”. But when choosing the HD version the sound is much lower and the left channel is swapped with the right channel. E.g. when I saw the car in the movie drive to the left, the sound from the car was driving to the right in the loadspeakers! Not fun to look at.
13) MP4. Why is MP4 playing so different & filled with problems? Those MP4 videoclips recorded with my Nokia Communicator e90 phone is ok until in the end of the movie, there is no sound in the last part of the movies when showed/played on this TV. And those MP4 videoclips recorded with a Samsung phone is not playing any sound at all! And finally the MP4 videoslips taken with my Monolta quality camera they are played in double speed, so that the sound sounds like Donald Duck or more precisely “tapesalat” when played on the TV. And as I wrote in issue no. 7, it also have problems with MP4 files recorded on the TV itself, because those is filled with pausing, stuttering and large pixelation areas. Also it repeats the same part of the video several times, which makes it really annoying to listen/see the recorded videoclip!
14) INITIALIZING. When starting up the TV, it takes VERY long time before it shows any TV signal! After a while of waiting it shows: "INITIALIZING", and then after You wait again. Why does it have to take so long time?
15) REMOTECONTROL 2. Sometimes the TV does something different than what button is pressed on the remotecontrol! E.g. if I push the "FAV" button, it shows the "info" screen in the buttom instead, and vice versa.
