Yes, and most of the time you get higher peak brightness in the glowing areas (stars, lamps etc.) which are the object in movies that go to 1000 nits or beyond. That it because OLED controls light on the pixel-level instead of a few hundred or thousand zones.

If QN95B was 30-50% cheaper than LG G2, I would consider it. At the same price, I don't see it as an alternative. It's not in the same picture quality class.

Great feedback. Looks like a g2 83 inch for the movie room. In regard of living room, with big windows and lots of light. Would you go for g2, or miniled samsung?
