Den 10. november lanceres den langt kraftigere PlayStation 4 Pro, som lover spil i op til 4K-opløsning og HDR. I dag afslører Sony, at bl.a. Call of Duty, Uncharted 4, The Last of Us og Rise of the Tomb Raider vil blive opdateret til at tage de nye billedteknologier i brug.
PS4 Pro med ”op til 4K” og HDR
For at tage de ekstra grafikmuskler i PS4 Pro i brug, skal spil enten opdateres eller frigives med understøttelse fra start. Det vil 30 spil blive før lanceringsdagen den 10. november, siger Sony. Og 45 spil inden årets udgang.
PS4 Pro kan levere spil i en opløsning på op til 4K Ultra HD og desuden i HDR (High Dynamic Range). Sony siger ”op til 4K” fordi mange spil typisk vil blive renderet i en lavere opløsning imellem HD og 4K og dernæst opskaleret til 4K. HDR-delen udvider lysdynamikken og farverummet og har potentialet til at forbedre de visuelle udtryk af spil markant.

Uncharted 4, The Last of Us m.fl.
Nogle af de første titler bliver de visuelt imponerende spil fra Naughty Dog, herunder Uncharted 4 og The Last of Us. En fuld liste kan ses nederst.
De vil blive frigivet softwareopdateringer, som naturligvis er gratis. Opdateringen til The Last of Us blev sendt ud i går og virker allerede i HDR på den nuværende PS4 konsol. Du kan også læse mere om HDR på spilkonsoller i denne forumtråd.
