De fire første Indiana Jones-film bliver i denne måned officielt en del af Disney+. Det sker som optakt til biografpremieren på den femte film, hvor Harrison Ford gør comeback.
Indiana Jones og jagten på den forsvundne skat, Indiana Jones og templets forbandelse, Indiana Jones og det sidste korstog og Indiana Jones og krystalkraniets kongerige vil fra den 31. maj kunne streames på Disney+.
Det gælder også i Danmark, bekræfter Disney Danmark i dag i en pressemeddelelse.
Optakt til femte film
Den ikoniske filmserie kræver ikke den store introduktion, men baghistorien gør måske.
De tidlige film blev produceret af Lucasfilm og Paramount Pictures i samarbejde. Disney købte Lucasfilm i 2012, men Paramount beholdte distributionsrettighederne, mens Disney fik rettighederne til nye produktioner i franchisen.
Nu har Disney så også fået distributionsret til de ældre titler, om end vi ikke kender aftalens vilkår. Det vides heller ikke endnu, om de fire film på Disney+ vil kunne streames i 4K Dolby Vision og Dolby Atmos, ligesom de kan på Apple TV (iTunes).

Tilføjelsen på Disney+ er en optakt til den femte film i serien, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, som får biografpremiere i Danmark den 28. juni 2023.
Disney har desuden luftet tanker om en fremtidig tv-serie baseret på Indiana Jones.
De fire Indiana Jones film
