Panasonic meddeler, at Disney+ nu er tilgængelig på en pulje af deres Smart TV i Danmark og andre lande. Den understøtter 4K Dolby Vision.
Disney+ på Panasonic TV
Det tog sin tid, men Disney+ er nu endelig tilgængelig som app direkte på nyere Panasonic Smart TV. Appen rulles ud i denne uge.
- "Panasonic has confirmed that Disney+ is now available on 4K Panasonic TVs released from 2017 onwards which feature the My Home Screen operating system. On compatible TVs the Disney+ app icon will become visible in the Application view, allowing viewers to enjoy Disney+ content with the “true to the creators’ intent” picture quality Panasonic is known for."
Disney+ findes nu på Panasonic OLED og LCD TV
Appen er kompatibel med Panasonic Smart TV fra 2017 og frem, som kører My Home Screen-platform (EZ, EX, FZ, FX, GZ, GX, HZ, HX, JZ og JX modeller). Appen virker ikke på 2015 og 2016 Panasonic Smart TV idet selskabet ikke opdaterer TV-platformen i skærmene. Disney+ fandtes allerede på Panasonics Android TV.
Appen understøtter streaming i op til 4K-opløsning med Dolby Vision HDR. Dolby Atmos-lyd virker på visse titler i visse lande, men ikke overalt på nuværende tidspunkt – det står ikke klart hvorfor. Opdatering: Atmos er ikke supporteret.
Disney+ er en abonnementsbaseret streamingtjeneste med adgang til indhold fra Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic og Star, hvor sidstnævnte dækker over indhold fra bl.a. 20th Century Studios, FX, Searchlight mm. Disney+ koster 79 kr/md. i Danmark.
