Med det rette måleudstyr og Calman-software vil det snart blive muligt at auto-kalibrere TCLs nyeste 4K LCD TV i C728-, QLED850- og C825-serierne.
TCL og Calman partnerskab
LG, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic og Philips har allerede tilføjet support af Calman-kalibrering. Nu har TCL i Europa også fundet sammen med Portrait Display, som er selskabet bag Calman.

It means that up to 4934 calibration points can be used to help professional calibrators and consumer to enjoy picture with extremely low color errors, all fully automated and quick," siger Marek Maciejewski, Product Development Director, TCL Europe.
TCLs C728, QLED850 og C825 bliver Calman Ready
TCLs C728 (QLED850 i Norden) og C825, som begge blev lanceret i Norden i foråret, får 'Calman Ready'-integration. Ligesom LG vil TCL understøtte Calmans nye Aurora billedmotor.
- "By integrating Calman Ready with the new QLED TV C72+ Series and Mini LED TV C82 Series calibration is made easy, consistent, and automated," sagde Eric Brumm, President & CEO, Portrait Displays.
For at komme i gang skal man have kompatibelt måleudstyr (såsom X-Rite i1Display, X-Rite i1Pro eller Spyder 5) og Calman Home app til PC. Portrait Displays lancerede i 2019 billigere udgaver af Calman appen (145 dollars), som er bundet op på et specifikt TV-mærke.
Calman Home softwaren til TCL TV er ikke blevet klar i skrivende stund, men skulle dukke op inden længe. Mere information kan findes her.
