Panasonics to nye OLED-serier, EZ1000 og EZ950 har begge opnået ‘UHD Premium’ og ‘THX 4K’ certificering, har selskabet annonceret. EZ1000 er også blevet valgt som reference-skærm af partnere i Hollywood.
”Ready for Hollywood”
Panasonic har hevet fagfolk fra Hollywood ind i et forsøg på at optimere sine 2017 OLED-modeller til det ypperste. Selskabet hævder, at EZ1000 derfor leverer farvepræcision i referenceklassen.
- “Top colorists, image scientists and engineers at Deluxe’s Company 3, EFILM, and Encore post-production companies worked with Panasonic to tune and test the 4K Pro EZ1000 and EZ950 OLED TVs,” sagde selskabet.
Optimeringsarbejdet har tilsyneladende betalt sig for både EZ1000 og EZ950 har bestået de to certificeringsinsitutters test. Dermed har skærmene opnået både ‘UHD Premium’ og ‘THX 4K’.
For at opnå ‘UHD Premium’ certificering skal et OLED-tv opfylde eller overgå følgende krav.

EZ1000 som reference-skærm
Panasonic siger, at ud over at være blevet certificeret, er EZ1000 blevet godkendt af partnere i Hollywood som “client reference monitor”.
- “They have also approved the EZ1000 for use as a client reference monitor for color grading sessions on blockbuster feature films and high-end television episodics across their facilities,” lyder det fra den japanske producent.
En af partnerne har også roser at uddele.
- “Color has a latent power; its ability to evoke emotions that help filmmakers tell stories. If you aren’t seeing color as it was intended, you aren’t getting the experience that was intended. Until now there hasn’t been an affordable way to present multiple formats consistently in a way that we can approve. The Panasonic EZ1000 TV is a major breakthrough, delivering consistently with the parameters and characteristics we see on professional-grade monitors that our colorists are referencing,” sagde Stefan Sonnenfeld, Chief Creative Officer of Deluxe and Founder of Company 3.
